چکیده
With the introduction of Industry 4.0, and smart factories accordingly, there are new opportunities to implement elements industry 4.0 in nonthermal processing. Moreover, with application Internet things (IoT), control process, big data optimization, as well sustainable production monitoring, is a era food processing technologies (IoNTP). Nonthermal include high power ultrasound, pulsed electric fields, voltage electrical discharge, pressure processing, UV-LED, light, e-beam, advanced thermal techniques microwave ohmic heating high-pressure homogenization. The aim this review was bring front necessity evaluate possibilities implementing sensors, artificial intelligence (AI), data, additive technologies, possibility create together strong emphasis on sustainability. This paper brings an overview digitalization, IoT, (3D printing), cloud storage sensors including two SWOT analysis associated IoNTPs It importance perform life cycle assessment (LCA), quantify (En)—environmental dimension; (So)—social dimension (Ec)—economic dimension. showed: potential for energy saving during processing; optimized overall environmental performance; lower manufacturing cost; development eco-friendly products; higher level health safety better work condition workers. can be applied also working line goals (SDGs) Agenda 2030 issued by United Nations (UN).

Energetic consequences of thermal and nonthermal food processing.
Processing food extensively by thermal and nonthermal techniques is a unique and universal human practice. Food processing increases palatability and edibility and has been argued to increase energy gain. Although energy gain is a well-known effect from cooking starch-rich foods, the idea that cooking meat increases energy gain has never been tested. Moreover, the relative energetic advantages ...
متن کامل9 Sustainability andEnvironmental Issues in Food Processing
The United Nations has defined sustainable development as development that meets “the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs” (United Nations, 1987). Therefore, a sustainable food chain implies that the entire food chain must be both competitive and resilient if it is to ensure a secure, environmentally sustainable, and healthy supply...

متن کاملImpacts of food processing industry on some environmental health and safety factors
In developing countries, it is common to site (or locate) industries without environmental impact assessment. In this study the impacts of two food processing industries on land use and land capability, noise and vibration, environmentally sensitive areas and visual quality as environmental elements were investigated. The research method adopted was the investigative survey research approach (I...
متن کاملNanotechnology in Food Industry; Advances in Food processing, Packaging and Food Safety
Nanotechnology is emerging as a rapidly growing field with its wide application in science and technology for manufacturing of new materials at nanoscale level (Albrecht et al., 2006). This technology gained a tremendous impetus due to its capability of reformulating metals into new nanosized particles, with dimension less than 100 nm in size. Due to nanoparticle size, their physio-chemical pro...
